Adopt - A - Block — Good Neighbor Policy

Praying before the Adopt-A-Block crew begin work

During the fall season, each Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 am, teams of compassion from the Dream Center and volunteers or Church groups will visit our neighborhood. Stopping-by homes to say, WE CARE, HOW CAN WE SERVE YOU?

Shovels, brooms, rakes, trash bags, sweat, and smiles are “ADOPT-a-BLOCK” tools. Cleaning, raking, shoveling, and repairing things are just some of their duties. Our responsibility is; to care for the neighborhood and the community that we are a part of & live in, to always be the ‘Good Samaritan’.

Come and join us, together we can make a difference in our city.

What do the neighbors say?

"We found a house that we were going to buy, two blocks from the Dream Center, but the garage needed to have new roof. I went to talk with Pastor Michael and on Saturday the Adopt-A-Block team came and helped to replace the roof."
